New Exhibit: Thanksgiving Point Dinosaur Museum

Mastodon
To call it an exhibit is a bit of a stretch, but the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point is currently showing off a mastodon and a giant American Stag. They are on loan from a personal owner and they are right in the front as you come up toward the desk. Our boys thought they were very interesting because they are something we don't see often. We thought they were neat because they are 70-80% bone, depending on which fossil you are viewing. That is impressive. So, if you are heading toward the Dinosaur Museum, make sure to check these displays out. They won't be there for long. You can read more details here.
