Christmas at Riverwoods in Provo

Today we went to eat at Tucanos located in the Shops at Riverwoods in Provo, and we found a pleasant surprise.  The shopping center was covered with lights and the streets were blocked off, so you could walk around without worrying about cars.  We also found Santa waiting for someone to talk with him.  Unfortunately, we didn't have our camera, but both boys told Santa what they wanted for Christmas and then picked a special prize from his bag.  The best part: it was all free!  There wasn't a line to see Santa, so if you bring your own camera you can capture one of those classic pictures of children crying on Santa's lap without spending time and money at the mall.  Before we froze, we enjoyed looking at the blue and white lights.  So dress warm, and head to the Riverwoods for a quick, fun, free Christmas outing.  You can find more information about Santa's hours at their website.  It says they have carriage rides, carolers, and  crafts! We might be heading down there another night.

To locate The Shops at Riverwoods, follow Orem Center Street East (towards the mountains).  The shops are located on the north side of the street where Center Street meets University Avenue.

We did go back another night with the camera.  So here are some pictures!

Our boys in Santa's chair. Santa was gone for the night.
