Treehouse Museum

This place is amazing! I will begin by saying that because I don't think I will be able to tell you with words how much fun we had. My boys are still asking to go back and it has been over a month.

The museum is divided into little areas that the children can learn about (Old West, Indians, China, England, Africa, etc.). My boys ran from place to place. They also had knights and an Oval Office replica. One of their favorites was the music room. They could play lots of different instruments. There is a craft area, an area with train tables, a fire engine, and much more. Each area has dress up costumes and a bookshelf with books about this topic. You could spend a long time here. I am considering getting a pass. It is a bit of a drive (it's in Ogden), but you could spend all day. They allow you to leave and come back because there is a no food policy. While we were there, they also invited everyone to come to a story time and then make a craft related to the story. I loved how the whole museum was focused on reading.

They even have little potties, which proved useful because we have a child who is beginning potty training.

In the middle of the museum is a large treehouse--probably where it got its name. This is how you get upstairs. There are a few different ways to climb and of course, we had to try them all.

I have so many fun pictures, so I made them small! You can always click on them to make them bigger. And for more information about the Treehouse Museum, you can go to their website.
Riding the fire engine. Later, they put on the firefighter outfits.

Being a cowboy! He spent a lot of time here--he loved the Old West.

Going to the bathroom for the 5th time. No accidents though!

Milking a cow. It really sprayed water--awesome!

Going to school like the pioneers.

Catching fish like Chinese fishermen.

Playing very LOUD music.

In the Oval Office. I don't know if I would
vote for him as President, he's a little unpredictable! :)

s George Washington. Nice face!

The boys loved the big chess set!

Who do you think you are, King Arthur!

  2. That was seriously so much fun. I would totally buy a pass if the winter was going differently for us. Maybe next year.
