Sledding (finally!)

Today's adventure was sledding. We weren't really sure where to go here in Utah Valley, but had heard that the Equestrian Park in American Fork was pretty good. To get to the park, go east past Costco on the south side. (Mom calls this the "Walmart side" and the other side the "Lowe's side"). About a mile up the road on the right side you pass a holding pond and then the park.

The boys loved the sledding even though it may have been a bit advanced for a 2 year old. The hill beside the pavilions is a bit clumpy and rough, and with the 5 inches of snow we got, a bit bumpy, but the boys didn't care. Nine inches of snow would have made things more smooth. The hill is just the right steepness for a toboggan, though, and you can hike up as far as you like because it is pretty long. We will continue to try different sledding spots, snow-willing, and keep posting our sledding adventures, so stay tuned!

That's our 6 year-old way at the top of the hill.

And here he is at the bottom!
