Evans Family Farm

In Lehi, there is a local family farm that hosts a pumpkin patch during the month of October. I had never heard of this patch, but I had two neighbors tell me they go every year. I was lucky enough to go with my three year old and his preschool. It was fun!

This pumpkin patch has a small petting area with chickens, bunnies, sheep, goats, ponies, and a llama. There is also food to feed the animals (bring a quarter or two).

The kids loved feeding the animals.

They also have a corn stalk "maze." It's not really a maze, just a tunnel to run through, but the preschool children thought it was amazing. They ran through over and over again. There is a real corn maze that took about 5-10 minutes to work through, perfect for the 3 and 4 year olds.

There was a wagon ride and a tractor barrel train ride. But, the most popular section was the playground area. It had a few slides, some hoppy toys, and a straw bale maze.

Of course, this pumpkin patch is small, but I love that it is local and it isn't as expensive as some of the other Halloween activities around. It cost $3.50 to get in and the kids each got a pumpkin. That was the field trip price. I'm not sure what their general admission is and they don't have a website, just a Facebook page.  So next year, check out their prices and put this on your list of things to do next October.
