Hale Center Theater in Orem

Hale Center Theater Orem
We have had season tickets to the Hale Center Theater in Orem for a long time. We love the small theater because of it's friendly atmosphere and talented local actors. It is a great date night outing for us, but every once in awhile they perform a show that is appropriate for our children. Last night we took our oldest son to see Peter Pan. He loved it!

The Hale Theater is set up in round style which means that the stage is in the center of the room with seats all around. It is also a small theater so you can see the actors' facial expressions and notice little movements that maybe you wouldn't see in a large theater. Because it is so small, they are very creative in the way they perform things. Peter Pan definitely couldn't fly in there, so it was fun to watch their creative ways of making him "fly."

You are so close to the action at the Hale.

This theater has begun performing more children's shows in the last few years by allowing the youth to perform them. They are even performing a youth Christmas Carol in December this year. These plays are performed by children, so it is a great chance for your young children to go to the theater. Cinderella is the next youth show and I'm sure there will be lots of little princesses there. The Hale Center Theater also offers acting and voice lessons.

Whether you are looking for a night out without the kids, or a place to take your children to the theater, we recommend the Hale Center Theater in Orem.  It is located at the corner of 400 N. and Orem Blvd in Orem.
