Have you seen the Bald Eagle on Pioneer Crossing? We see him almost every time we drive to the freeway. As you travel east on Pioneer Crossing toward I-15 and pass Mill Pond Road (where you now go over the train tracks) look in the trees on the north (left) side of the road. We see a lone bald eagle in that tree next to the pond almost every day.
Eagles are usually in Utah from about Christmas to the end of January.

What the bald eagle looks like as you drive by |
I cropped this picture so you could see him a little better. |
UPDATE: We've seen him every day between Christmas and New Year's Day, but he is hiding on the far northeast side, so he's a little tough to pick out. Look closely-- it is obviously a bald eagle. You can turn north down Mill Pond Road and park on the east side by the "No Trespassing" signs and see him pretty well.
